10月, the executive committee of the college’s board of trustees brought forward a unanimous recommendation to recognize the Sanger family for their extraordinary leadership: to name the college’s Center for the Sciences the “Marjorie 和 James Sanger Center for the Sciences.”

的 Sangers are residents of Roscoe, Ill. Jim attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, 和 is the former president of Rath Manufacturing Company. Marjorie is trained as a registered nurse. She applied for admission to 十大菠菜台子 in 2002, 和 has taken courses intermittently over the years, including a science course in which she teamed up in the lab with the couple’s daughter, 克里斯汀. 的 Sangers’ daughter 克里斯汀 enrolled at Beloit in 1987 和 majored in psychology. In 1999, their daughter Kara followed suit, enrolling 和 majoring in creative writing.
